Walking on Water Ski Camp's mission is to use water sports in following God's call to spread the Good News of Jesus.

We will accomplish this by building campers and volunteers in each of these areas...

Spiritually
Through topical bible discussion and fellowship with peers and role models

Relationally
Encouragement of others in learning a new skill, engaging peers during bible discussion and group games

Physically
Through learning or teaching a new water sports skill

Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvellous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.
— Psalm 71: 17-18

Walking on Water is an organization of individuals, couples, and families that share a passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and water sports.  Volunteer members are from the Farragut, Lenoir City, Maryville, Greenback , and Knoxville, TN areas.

Our camp is modeled from the original Walking on Water ministry based out of Hingham, WI (http://www.wowskicamp.com), which has held a camp of similar style each year since 2008.  2015 was WOW-TN's first year to have a day camp, and the Wisconsin WOW group supported us to ensure the event was a vibrant success.  In 2016, we repeated that success, but independently with volunteers completely from Tennessee.  Unfortunately, the 2017 day camp has been cancelled due to administrative requirements.  We have received our official non-profit status, but have not been able to find financially feasible options to run the camp this year.  BUT, we are planning to get this addressed and be back in 2018!

Each camper will participate in structured small group devotionals in order to progress in their spiritual lives.

Each camper will be given considerable ski time with experienced instructors.

Campers will play organized games on the beach and in the water, allowing for fellowship with new friends.
